Answer by woodtick314
Yes you can. Unlike a refrigerator, there is no oil/compressor issue to worry about. Lay it on its back and you will be fine. Hope this helps.

Question by gilariversun: I saw a DPS SUV Van with a 15 foot pole on top – what was it?
I was driving home on the 51 hwy and saw what I think was a DPS SUV Van with a pole of some sort on the roof about 15 feet tall. What was that?

I thought it might be Photo speed enforcement, but looking up those vehicles online, they do not have that pole. I am very curious – what WAS that SUV?

Best answer:

Answer by redhzkingswood
Probably either an on site police lighting vehicle, high powered lights fit on the pole and they forgot to lower it, or more likely a film crew for TV or other filming. There is also a remote possibility it was a GOOGLE mapping car.

I am moving to AZ from OH soon. 2 of my friends are coming along on the drive down there. So we have turned it into a roadtrip. I need a car that will get us there. That has room for all of my stuff. And that gets good miles per gallon. What is the best car for this?

Best answer:

Answer by McMayhem
Well I dont know that you will find anything large and roomy that gets good mileage!!!
We rented a Nissan Armada for a trip and loved it. It was large and comfy and rode very smoothly and made for a nice trip. I honestly couldnt tell you about the mileage though.

Question by 27ss: How do i get my SUV to stop rattleing so much when my subwoofers are used?
Its a 1997 toyota 4runner. At first it sounded good but now when i turn the subs up ( two 12 inch kenwoods pushin 1800 wats) my car rattles like no other. All i want is a solid bass sound and not as much rattle. What should i do

Best answer:

Answer by John
I had the same problem and the single biggest item was the back numberplate rattleing. Park the truck, turn on the music loud then stand outside and press your hand against the numberplate if that is one source of a rattle double sided foam sticky tape behind the numberplate works well.

If there are other rattles inside then its best to go around some of the plastic interior trim and press your hand against it and see when the rattle stops.
This can take a while. Then its a matter of removing the plastic trim and applying some double sided sticky tape behind the trim to dampen the parts that rattle.

Question by : If i secure my daughters crib to the roof of my suv can i put a cargo bag on top of that and secure it also?
My family is moving from Florida to Arizona and we need to take our daughters crib with so we want to take it apart and strap it to the roof. We would also like to use a roof top cargo bag. I was wondering if it would be ok to strap that down on top of the crib? We are purchasing everything else when we get there or we already have it waiting we just need to worry about her crib clothes and some other small items getting there.

My friend is a truck/SUV fanatic and tried to argue that a comparably priced SUV/Truck would “smoke” a car when i bitched that during a hurricane-level storm an suv was driving like a prick cutting cars off because this was the “one time” he can actually out-drive anyone.

Best answer:

Answer by just call me Buzz
Horsepower per pound per dollar, a car is going to be the fastest per dollar, every time. Then a Truck, then an SUV…

Example;

Cadillac Escalade new $ 50 grand.

You can buy a 500 horsepower Roush Mustang for $ 50,000, or even a corvette.

and for the lower end stuff, Do you realy think a Honda CRV is going to be faster than a 2500 pound civic?….not likely…(Plus the CRV costs more)

We have a queen mattress set (boxspring and mattress) that we need moved, we live 4 hours (250miles) away though. I tried to look up some freight places but they’re all expensive and not worth it considering our mattress isn’t that new. I don’t want to buy a new one bc I’m cheap so do you think if we secured it to the top of my fiance’s expedition it’d be okay for the ride?

Best answer:

Answer by Nick
Tie it down really, really well and drive no faster than 50mph.
Stop regularly and check to see how it’s holding up on your roof.
I’d say the odds of losing it are 60/40 in your favor.
